What/who prompted you to become a member?
Artisans’ Bank. We want to support homebuilders as best we can.
How long have you been a member?
Personally since 2007. Bank has been a member for much longer.
How/who first got you involved and what did you do?
Joined board in 2009/2010? Again bank encourages being involved to support homebuilders and associates.
What were your expectations when you joined? Have they changed?
Expectations were to participate as much as possible and support builders/associates and get to know them as much as possible. I have met many new people through my involvement with the HBA DE and have enjoyed being part of the board. It is one of the most organized and functional boards I have been involved with and is provides up to date industry and regulatory information to all which is especially helpful to builder members.
How has HBADE membership impacted your business?
Continue to do business with many builders and associates and have gotten new business through Association contacts.
Fun fact about yourself?
Enjoy traveling/camping in RV. Hope to travel the USA in RV once retired.
What wisdom/advice do you have for future members?
Get involved with board if possible and attend as many HBA DE events as possible. Hard to attend everything but pick your spots.
