What/who prompted you to become a member?
Al Madora asked me to get involved when I was with Kidde Consultants.
How long have you been a member?
Since 1987 with Kidde Consultants (KCI), JCM Environmental, LandmarkJCM and then Watershed Eco.
How/who first got you involved and what did you do?
I came to every Board Meeting as an Environmental Advisor and then Paul Robino asked me to serve on the Board. I assisted in getting a debris disposal fund set up, served on the State Wetlands Committee and various New Castle County environmental committees for tree protection, buffers, comprehensive plan and wetlands.
What were your expectations when you joined? Have they changed?
Initially joined to try to get business and after all these years I am most interested in helping to improve this industry.
How has HBADE membership impacted your business?
It has helped build relationships that have improved business.
Fun fact about yourself?
Jacki and I got married 11 days after our first date and we are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year.
What wisdom/advice do you have for future members?
Get involved and don’t expect business right away, you need to develop relationships.
